Notes, Tuesday 2 August
- A place where kids can do whatever they want
- Point of difference.
- No prioritising from council.
- Culturally relevant - Botanical gardens 150 years old
- no signs
- no branding
- an experience for kids, something to make it very memorable for them
- make it like a “theme”… some idea of it. A journey that kids would go through, some sort of adventure/challenge
- Age group: 5-10.
- No apps.
- Focus on the kids, not on the parents
- Secret knowledge, don’t bombard them with it make it subtle. Fun comes first, learning second. Disguise it.
- It’s on a slope…
- Unstructured experience
- Food fibre medicine construction. Not just “in the box” thinking?
- Don’t prioritise one plant over some others.
- Construction - make your own hut…
- Health and Safety!!
- Guidelines not barriers
